Studio description

Panda Cat Games was founded by Sarah York and is working on the demo for their debut game. Our mission is to create games that are welcoming to players of all abilities, and to become recognised for developing skill-inclusive, cross-generational experiences for underserved audiences.

Our vision as a studio also includes supporting underrepresented and early-career developers who face barriers to entry, and setting an example for what inclusive and psychologically safe game development can look like backed by our founder’s experience of building and empowering effective teams
Debut game - Spirits of Heartwood

The team are currently working on a playable prototype for our debut game, Spirits of Heartwood. A two-player buddy adventure (local/online co-op) designed to bring people together through shared experiences, and stress-free play (no combat, timers or fail states). The game is skill-inclusive and welcoming to players of all ages and abilities.
